TBH&C Album Zine

This zine portrays Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, the album by Arctic Monkeys, in a visual format. The challenge was to reinterpret an existing work in a new medium, so I chose to explore the music of this unique album through a depth of visual metaphors. The album itself is known for its experimental sound and surreal, philosophical writing that reflects on modern society through an absurd science-fiction narrative. The zine follows the chronological order of the songs and uses retrofuturist typography and image treatment to illustrate the most notable themes, visually presenting them in a way that mirrors the dazed and incohesive wanderings of the music.
